Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the CURT Class 1 trailer hitch receiver on a 2024 Toyota Camry. Camrys are some of the best, most reliable sedans you can find out on the road, but when it comes to maybe doing some explorations or adding to your adventures, maybe it's not the most suited, but that's not to stop you from being able to have a bike rack, cargo carrier, or even towing a small trailer with it. Your other options include having a roof rack on your vehicle to be able to put that cargo rack or a bike rack and that's not a bad option. I've gone that route on my car and then I finally ended up going with an inch and a quarter hitch. And that was all that was available for my vehicle. And that's kind of the case with this, but not to worry, it's really nice to have that hitch because I've used it for many different things, not just my bike rack. more

Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at installing the etrailer trailer hitch receiver on a 2024 Toyota RAV4. Now, this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed, and you can see, or not see, the fact that the cross tube is hidden, so you get a nice clean look of not seeing the entire hitch and only having the receiver tube opening down. So that's the benefits of having the hitch but still maintaining a nice clean look. And the etrailer hitch, I really like, because it's got the matte black powder coat finish, so it gives it a little bit stealthier look. It kind of blends in with some of the black plastic, and overall it holds up a little bit better than the gloss paint chips and scratches. Now, this is a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, which is gonna be great when it comes to choosing accessories, bike racks, cargo carriers, or even ball mounts for towing a trailer. more

Adding a hitch to the back of your Sienna is gonna allow you to do a couple different things. You can use it for bike racks or cargo carriers if you're wanting some more storage on the back of your vehicle, or you could do what this owner of this vehicle is gonna do and pull a small trailer. It's gonna have pretty impressive weight capacity, so you can pull trailers that have by using weight distribution or not. Adding the two-inch hitch receiver to the back of your Tacoma is gonna allow you to tow small trailers, put a bike rack on the back, or maybe even a cargo carrier. A lot of people think just because a truck has a bed doesn't mean that you're never gonna need any extra space, but I can tell you as a truck owner, you often run out of space for those bulkier items, like coolers or some larger luggage. So adding a cargo carrier on the back or making yourself some more room for your bikes on a bike rack is definitely gonna be a plus. Now, if you are planning on towing a trailer, it will have nice large safety chain loops here, so you can get safety chains of many different shapes and sizes. more

So with this being a Class 1 hitch it's gonna be pretty limited in terms of weight capacity but if you're looking to carry something like a bike rack or maybe a small cargo carrier or even tow a very small trailer it can certainly get the job done and it really expands the function of your Camry. I think most commonly it's probably gonna be something like a bike rack, and our neighbor today is gonna be using this for a bike rack. With a 200 pound max tongue weight rating it's going to be more than enough for most bike racks loaded up with some pretty standard bikes, maybe not the best option for E-bikes but with the Camry your options are gonna be very limited. more

Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Installation - 2015 Toyota Prius- Video

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at and installing the Draw-Tite Class 1 Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2015 Toyota Prius. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed on your Prius and it is an exposed cross tube meaning you can see the majority of the hitch below the fascia, but really this car is fairly low so unless you're directly behind it you're really not gonna see much except for the receiver tube opening and the safety chain loops. Now this one being an 1-1/4 means that you are gonna be a little bit limited when it comes to bike racks, cargo carriers, or ball mounts because it is a Class 1. That's kind of the nature of it. I have one on my own vehicle and it hasn't stopped me from putting cargo carriers or bike racks so don't let that deter you as there's not really a whole lot of other options for this vehicle. Now all of your accessories are gonna stay in place with a 1/2 inch pin and clip. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the EcoHitch Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2018 Toyota Prius. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed on your Prius and it is a hidden cross tube. This one bolts up behind the bumper beam so you got a nice clean look and the only thing that's gonna be visible from outside of the vehicle is gonna be the 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening and also the plate style safety chain loops. And that's something that's interesting about this hitch. This car generally has 1-1/4 of a Class 1 hitch so the availability for a 2 inch is really nice. Now you're not really gonna get a ton of different capacities as far as trying to tow more or haul more, but having a 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening opens up the window to a bunch of different bike racks and cargo carriers that you might previously be limited with an 1-1/4. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2023 Toyota Corolla. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed and it is an exposed cross tube, meaning you can see pretty much the whole portion of the hitch except for the mounting part, but honestly it sits pretty far recessed back with the receiver tube opening protruding. So you get a nice clean look overall and with this rear kind of fascia design here, it does hide it pretty well. Now looking closer at the hitch, this is gonna be an inch and 1/4 because it's a Class I, so you are gonna be a little bit limited when it comes to cargo carriers or bike racks or even ball mounts. But I personally have one of these on my vehicle and it's nice to have that there. That way, if I need to get my bike rack on, I still can. more

Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed and it is mostly hidden except for you have a plate here, your engine a quarter receiver opening, as well as your safety chain loops. But the cross member is hidden behind the rear fascia so you get a nice clean look. Now being that this is a class two that does mean that this is gonna be an inch and a quarter receiver tube opening and you are gonna be a little bit limited compared to a two inch receiver tube opening. But, for bike racks and cargo carriers, and even a small ball mount for a trailer, this is gonna be a great option and all of your accessories are gonna stay in place with a half inch pin and clip. more

And also just adding a hitch to the van really makes the best of the real estate of being able to put accessories on. And being a 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening means that you're gonna have a ton of options when it comes to ball mounts, bike racks, and cargo carriers as this is kind of the standard size and all of your accessories are gonna stay in place with a 5/8 pin and clip. Now this is not included with a hitch. A lot of your accessories will come with one but if you wanna pick up a spare or a locking one we have plenty of options available here at etrailer. more

Regardless, this one will get the job done. One of my favorite things about it is the way it's gonna look, all right So it's gonna be completely hidden for the most part, you're really only gonna be able to see the receiver tube opening, and there's some other hitches that are really similar in terms of appearance, one small thing that kind of sets this one apart, is it's gonna have a little bit higher capacities, so it's gonna be able to handle a little bit more weight. more

EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Installation - 2014 Toyota Prius v- Video

Hey everyone. How's it going Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the EcoHitch Stealth trailer hitch receiver here on our 2014 Toyota Prius V. And I do like the looks of it. It has a hidden design meaning the cross tube is actually tucked up behind the bumper here. And the only thing we actually can see is the receiver tube. etrailer Class III Trailer Hitch Installation - 2010 Toyota Highlander- Video

Hey everybody, how's it going Today, we're gonna be going over, and showing you how to install the etrailer trailer hitch receiver here, on a 2010 Toyota Highlander. So this is what our trailer hitch is gonna look like installed on our vehicle. Now it does have a visible cross tube design, but it also has a matte black powder coated finish, which is really gonna help it blend in with the underbody paneling on the vehicle. It's also gonna help protect our hitch from rust and corrosion. So adding a trailer hitch to your Highlander, it's gonna be an excellent option, because it's gonna make your vehicle that much more versatile. Now we can obviously use a trailer hitch for towing, but if we wanted to hit some trails, or just simply free up some space inside the vehicle for us and the family on those long road trips, we could easily attach either a hitch-mounted bike rack or a hitch-mounted cargo carrier. more
